One on One tackles, note the the placement of the feet and in particular the front foot, the point of contact ie: the shoulder and the direction of and the transfer of weight from the tackler after contact, as well as the netrual position of the spine.

ITM Cup highlights - week 4

Hey guys, here is a video of week 4 of the ITM Cup in NZ, always good viewing though a crappy feed. Some points to take note of:
*Kick Chases - Not just on the ball but across the Field as a line to secure the territory. Even a chip and chase from your try line is a good option IF you have a good chase.
* The "Unders Angle"
* The organization of defence out wide and around the ruck. There are both Good and Bad examples.
* Offloads in contact and the lines of the support players receiving the pass.
* How many times does someone break the defensive line with "the ball in two hands"?
